Niko Draganić is the Head of Data Science at Koios Consulting, based in Zagreb, Croatia. His experiences as a senior BI Consultant at one of the Croatia’s largest banks include data and infrastructure analysis and design, data mining, regulatory reporting and Risk Management model development. He holds a master’s degree in Digital Signal Processing from Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb. Niko joined Koios in 2015 and has been leading its Data Science team for a few months.
Koios Consulting Ltd. is a London-registered, Zagreb-based Business Intelligence and Data Science consultancy company, founded in 2007. by Stjepan Pavlek – Posavec. They have established a reputation as one of the leading consultancy firms in their primary industry, FinTech, working for all the Croatia’s top financial institutions. Since 2018. they have enhanced their BI expertise with DS solutions and have been among the main partners of the DSE Conference.
EU Parliament: What does the data say?
Presentation will be showing a brief overview of the EP structure and data transparency and availability. What are our expectations? What are the limitations? How well does the data fit our needs? Are we asking the right questions?
We then continue by comparing member states and political groups by MEP activity. We introduce measurements such as success index on the group / state level and activity index for an MEP and we place our most interesting inferences.
In the conclusion will explain our findings, summarize the challenges we encountered and review further research options.
