Laura is the Sr. Director of Software Engineering for multiple teams at Carta in Palo Alto, San Francisco and Salt Lake City, focused on scaling money movement and building innovative new financial products with leading edge technology.
Laura is also an Executive in Residence at Vonzos Partners, an investment services firm in Silicon Valley, and an advisory board member of 10,000 Degrees, which helps students from low income backgrounds get to and through college.
During her 15 years at PayPal, StubHub and eBay, Laura was passionate about innovating and building world-class technology platforms and recruiting and growing top talent engineers and leaders. During her tenure at eBay, she also served for 3 years as the President of eBay Women in Technology to invest in the career success of women and chaired the Technology Mentoring Program connecting hundreds of proteges with mentors. Previous to her career in software she was a Director of Operations at First Data and Client Executive at EDS and MCI Systemhouse.
